Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), also known as Clinical Laboratory Science is an advanced branch of science which helps with the analysis, cure & prevention of diseases through various laboratory tests. Candidates (after their successful completion of Bachelor of science (B.Sc) course in MLT) have vast opportunities both in terms of higher study options and also in pursuing it as a profession. Medical Laboratory Technologist or technicians are allied healthcare professionals. Their main task is diagnosis of disease in patients referred to them by Doctors. Medical technologists are an integral part of the medical profession. These professionals are involved in the practical and technical work for proper diagnosis and effective functioning of biochemical laboratories. The course trains students in aspects such as learning about various diseases, their detection and diagnosis. Techniques such as operating electronic and electrical lab equipment, patient record keeping and progress monitoring are also taught in this course.

    Eligibility Criteria

  • 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English./li>
  • Minimum 50% marks (General/OBC) or 45% marks (SC/ST)
  • Age: 17 years (on 31 December of admission Year)
